About the artist

Scott McKinney is an artist and designer living and working in Denver Colorado. As a multimedia artist his work spans everything from silkscreen prints and film photography to video works and interactive sculptures. His work focuses on the politics of media within social interaction and daily life. Exploring the way that things like security cameras and computer software have altered both the way we act and communicate both in public and in private. Scott finished his BFA in digital Art from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2015 and has been featured in many small gallery shows across Denver. He received his MFA in Emergent Digital Practices from the University of Denver in 2020.
