September 1 - November 31, 2020

Hatch is a program series curated by re.riddle for the launch of Villa San Francisco, a new cultural institution that reimagines the original concept of villas by advancing beyond the conventional artists-in-residency. It aims to lead a future-driven dialogue between artists and communities. Inspired by the mission to foster, support and advance artistic and cultural communities, re.riddle comprised a program of micro-residencies that include performances, interviews, and panel conversations with the artists ALEXANDMUSHI, Boris Labbé, Cheryl Derricotte, Emilie Trice, Kai Chen, Kathryn Kert Green, Katia Cánepa Vega, Lauren Lee McCarthy, Pegan Brooke, ReCheng Tsang, Rodney Ewing, Scott McKinney and Summer Mei Ling Lee with Laura Boles Faw.

Villa San Francisco is a project of the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the United States, co-produced with the Consulate General of France in San Francisco and the French American Cultural Society with the support of the Institut Français, Paris.
